Gang & Associates, P.A., a national niche law firm in the veterans’ benefits field, is seeking a full-time attorney with demonstrated experience representing veterans in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC). This ideal candidate has strong legal writing skills, a deep understanding of VA law, regulations and procedures, and a proven track record at the appellate level.
Requirements for CAVC Attorney Hire
- Licensed attorney in good standing.
- Admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
- 1-3 years of CAVC experience with a minimum of 25-50 CAVC cases litigated.
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Track record of strong docket management skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for working with veterans and their survivors.
- Superior client relation skills.
- Strong computer and technology skills; Microsoft Office/Adobe Pro proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent veterans in appeals before the CAVC.
- Draft briefs, motions, and other appellate filings.
- Conduct case evaluations and legal research.
