With over four decades of experience in veterans’ disability and benefits law, Wayne Braeuer joined the Gang & Associates veteran’s disability law firm to contribute directly to disabled veterans and their families seeking VA benefits. Wayne’s extensive experience as a Veterans Law Judge with the U.S. Board of Veterans’ Appeals offers a unique, invaluable understanding of the Federal laws and regulations governing the Federal veterans’ benefits system.

As a Vietnam Veteran and former Senior Veterans Law Judge with the U.S. Board of Veterans’ Appeals, Wayne contributes a pivotal degree of knowledge and insight toward our team’s mission – to secure the VA benefits and support that disabled veterans and surviving family members deserve.

Having participated in hundreds of complex hearings assessing benefits claims appealed by veterans, reviewed thousands of VA regional office decisions on medical and legal claims, assessed countless dockets of evidence for legality, and issued numerous decisions on appeal, Wayne’s professional background as a dedicated leader and mentor for fellow Judges and attorneys and veterans is of immeasurable importance to the planning, preparation, and presentation of successful VA claims and appeals.

Wayne divides his spare time between volunteering with the Inova Alexandria Hospital and contributing to the preservation of Virginia’s historic home and museum, the Lee-Fendall House, where he serves as a docent, tour guide, and special events assistant.
